We are committed to using sustainable and ethical practices throughout our supply chain, and to promoting diversity, inclusion, and body positivity in all aspects of our business. Our ultimate goal is to help our customers embrace their unique identities and express themselves confidently and authentically.

WHO WE ARE

Virtue & Valour is woman owned, and is much more then just a business. We are a community of like-minded individuals who are dedicated to promoting self-love, confidence, and empowerment through our products and practices.

While most of the business is run by just the owner, Sofie, as demand fluctuates staff are brought in to fullfil market demand. This allows Virtue & Valour to teach, create employment, and otherwise develop the community around them.

THE OWNER

Who would've thought one poorly manufactured product would change the trajectory of a life forever?

Meet Sofie. She's the kind of person who once got so mad about a faulty purse that she learnt to work with leather. As any good origin story goes, the first items were mostly gifts to fill a gap in the market. Then more requests came and we had to make it official.

Virtue & Valour originally came to be as a leather accessories brand. Sofie has recently discovered the true strength and vibrancy of Biothane, a vegan harnessing alternative originating from the equine and canine worlds.

Deeply inspired by Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen and John Galliano, Sofie’s work has been featured on screen on various occasions. Can you spot it in the wild? Sofie’s main inspirations come from mixing feminine pieces and an edgy side in order to create timeless pieces that both inspire and give strength. To her, a harness is an extension of a belt and can be styled both for boudoir and with everyday pieces to create a personal style that may range from grunge to minimalism.
